Jaakko

Jaakko Pispala is the co-founder of Lambazouk Finland and a member of the regular teaching staff in Helsinki. Jaakko has been active in all kinds of sports since childhood, not afraid to try something new and to challenge himself. In 2011 he came across with Brazilian zouk and quickly got completely addicted.

Since summer 2014 Jaakko has been part of one of the most well known Lambazouk schools in the world - Movimento Lambazouk - learning regularly with the school's founder Ricardo Ferrari and travelling to different Lambazouk events. Jaakko has performed in Porto Seguro at the famous Berg’s Congress as well as at the Brazouka Beach Festival.

Since summer 2017 he has been teaching and sharing his passion for Lambazouk in Finland. He is active in the local zouk in Helsinki and travels often to Brazil to fuel his never-ending passion for this beautiful dance.

 

Noora 

Noora Staf is the co-founder of Lambazouk Finland and a member of the regular teaching staff in Helsinki. Noora started dancing in 2003, immersing herself with different urban dance styles. Her first touch with the Brazilian dance styles was samba no pé, which eventually led her to Brazilian zouk in early 2011. This mesmerizing dance and music immediately became her life passion.

Since then, she has been learning intensively with top Brazilian Zouk and Lambazouk teachers in Brazil and all around the world, always curious to try new things and to know every final detail.

From 2015 onwards Noora has been passing on all her knowledge to Lambazouk students in Finland and you can find her DJing at local parties & socials. Noora works in the media industry and in addition to running this site & Lambazouk Finland social media, she're also the mastermind behind a popular zouk & travel website Zouk The World.
